Read moreThe effective management of patients with epilepsy in today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape requires comprehensive knowledge extending far beyond clinical neurology. It encompasses expertise in neuroscience, neural networks, genetics, advanced neuroimaging techniques, psychiatry, artificial intelligence, and the social sciences.
This multidisciplinary perspective reflects the reality that epilepsy care involves much more than achieving seizure control. It requires an integrated approach addressing a broad spectrum of scientific and clinical challenges, including emerging pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies, patients' individual and social quality of life, health economics, close collaboration among multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and careful attention to nursing care and patient education.
With the grace of God, this year's congress has been designed around a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to epilepsy management. By presenting the latest scientific advances and drawing upon the invaluable expertise of distinguished national and international authorities, we aspire to promote scientific excellence and contribute to improving the quality of care for individuals living with epilepsy.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the esteemed faculty members for entrusting me with the responsibility of serving as the Scientific Secretary of this congress. I also hope that, through the guidance and experience of our respected Congress President, Professor Mehvari, together with the dedicated members of the Scientific Committee, we will provide an outstanding opportunity for updating scientific knowledge, fostering meaningful scientific dialogue, and advancing our understanding of the many dimensions of life affected by epilepsy.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the members of the Scientific and Executive Committees, whose dedication and tireless efforts have made the organization of this congress possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to the congress and to benefiting from your valuable knowledge, experience, and insightful contributions.
